What is a Gunblade

What is a Gunblade? well it's a combination blade and gun, usually a sword and revolver combo, the handle of the sword is usually in the shape of a gun handle with the trigger in the guard position.

Gunblade is a term probably originating from the video game final fantasy 8, where the weapon of choice was the gunblade.

Though throughout history gun and blade combinations are seen, though probably not using the term Gunblade.
